ctober is dubbed “development month”, however, for those of us and you who are involved in the progression and development of communities – this is a daily duty. There is a vital day observed annually, the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty on the 17th, that commemorates what the National Development Agency aims to achieve in its mandate to eradicate poverty through providing funds to civil society organisations to implement sustainable programmes that create jobs and livelihoods within communities.
